We Answer Your Questions…
Where are Holfur beds made?
All our beds are manufactured entirely in Spain, specifically in Yecla, a small artisan town located in the northern part of the Region of Murcia, renowned for its tradition in upholstery and sleep products. Every original Holfur dog bed is born in workshops where craftsmanship and manual precision continue to take center stage. We work with Spanish suppliers to guarantee traceability, quality, and consistency in every material used. From foam to technical fabrics, everything comes from domestic manufacturers selected for their reliability and production standards. Manufacturing in Spain allows us to oversee every stage of the process, maintain real control over quality, and reduce the logistics footprint. For us, an original dog bed is not a generic imported product, but a piece created with expertise, experience, and local commitment.
What does it mean that the beds are handmade?
It means they don't come off an automated production line or from mass production. Every original Holfur dog bed goes through expert hands from the first cut to the final stitch. The process includes the manual cutting of foam and memory foam, the individual tailoring of the covers, and the final assembly piece by piece. This artisanal method allows us to pay attention to details that are usually standardized in industrial processes. Stitching tension, core adjustment, fabric finishing, or the final visual inspection are part of a manual process that adds character and precision. When we say handmade, we are talking about time invested, personalized attention, and respect for the craft. It is a way of understanding production that puts the dog's well-being and real quality above speed.
What materials do you use in manufacturing?
We select foams, memory foam, and technical fabrics for their strength, stability, and long-term performance.
An original Holfur dog bed combines structural materials designed to maintain their shape with daily use. We do not use generic fillings or low-density solutions. Every component meets a functional and durable standard. Choosing local materials also allows us to ensure consistency in our processes and maintain a constant standard in every collection.
Why don't you produce in a continuous process like other brands?
Because we believe that rest should not be treated as a disposable product. Assembly-line production prioritizes volume and speed. Our approach prioritizes control, quality, and attention to detail. Each original dog bed is produced under direct supervision, without industrial automation. This allows us to maintain high standards in finishing and internal consistency. Handcrafting gives us the opportunity to inspect every piece before it reaches your home.
What sets Holfur apart from other dog bed brands?
The difference lies in the origin, the process, and the intention. Holfur combines design, viscoelastic technology, and Spanish artisanal manufacturing. We do not work with generic models or imported structures. An original Holfur dog bed is designed from scratch, built to last, and crafted by specialized artisans. Every decision—material, density, fabric, stitching—is guided by consistent technical and aesthetic criteria.
How does the artisanal process affect durability?
Manual control makes it possible to detect irregularities before the final product leaves the workshop. Proper core adjustment, uniform stitching tension, and visual inspection are part of our standard. In an original dog bed, each inner layer is placed and inspected individually. This reduces the risk of premature deformation and improves structural stability over time. The result is a bed designed to accompany the dog for years, backed by a real warranty.
Why choose an artisanal Spanish brand?
Because local manufacturing allows for transparency, control, and accountability. We know who cuts, sews, and assembles each piece. An original dog bed made in Spain reduces intermediaries, supports the local economy, and guarantees verifiable standards. It also allows us to offer a product consistent with the values of quality and durability. Choosing Holfur means opting for premium rest with a clear origin and visible process.
